Author Guidelines



According to the Decree № 1111 of the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports of Ukraine of October17, 2012 research articles that meet the following requirements for their design are the only that accepted to print:

1.  The manuscript should be carefully checked and signed by all authors.

2. Publishers’ language: Ukrainian, Russian, English, German, French, Polish, Czech, Slovak

Thematic scope of the collection:

-       geomechanics;

-       geotechnology;

-       mining machinery and equipment;

-       electrification and automation of mining practices;

-       economics, organization and management;

-       geoecology and labor protection.

3. Articles with volume 6-12, A4 pages including figures, tables and a list of sources are accepted to the collection. Manuscripts of articles that have not met the specified volumes will not be accepted.

-     Font “Times New Roman”, 14 primers

5. The terminology adapted to the state standards must be complied in the article. Using a new term or abbreviation, the author must decipher and explain them.

6. During the physical units selecting the SI units must be followed.

7. Article must not be applied catchwords. Formulas, figures, tables, sections must have simple Arabic sequentially numeration. It should not be numbered sections and formulas, if they have no reference in the text. Tables should not duplicate graphics.

8. Figures should be inserted in the text in the form of jpeg, tif, gif.

9. Abstract and key words should be in the Ukrainian, Russian and English.

Annotation (in Ukrainian, Russian and English) should contain a concise and precise formulation of scientific and practical problems (tasks) and the results obtained. Annotations that are not having article’s language should be wider. To the annotation keywords must be added.

Key words: in Ukrainian, Russian and English. Keywords volume ~ 5-10 words.

Introduction: actuality, problem definition and its relationship with scientific and practical tasks, analysis of recent research and publications, which discuss this issue and relied upon by the author.

The document body is recommended to cover such issues as:

Goal and Objectives: Research Methodology (highlight of unsolved aspects of the problem, which is subject matter of the article), statement of the problem (purposes of Article formulation (problem);

Research results: the main material of research and explanation of scientific results.

Conclusions: consequences of this study and recommendations for further research development in this direction. Title structural elements of the main part are finished. Each element (text) is typed of indentation in the selection of the text, highlighting in bold the first two or three words of the first decision.

Transliterated surnames and article’s translation are compulsive.

Ukrainian alphabet transliteration must be done according to the Enactment of the Cabinet of Ministers № 55Ukraineon January 27, 2010 ordering the Ukrainian alphabet transliteration in Latin.

Articles that do not meet the above stated requirements are not allowed to the printing.
