SWELLING OF CLAY SOIL UNDER HYDROTHERMAL CONDITIONS

Abstract


The samples were tested swelling soils when wetted with water T = 18 ÷ 20 ° C and T = 40 ÷ 80° C or more.

Obtain the relative deformation of swelling  when water temperatures Т=18÷20°C and T=40÷80°C or more at various sealing pressure, at time t=0÷72days.

The formulas in the form of a power function of the deformation of clay swelling when moistened with water T=18÷20°C and T=40÷80°C and with a coefficient  depending on the temperature of the water, taking into account the rheological parameters of swelling clays.
